HAVANA

Havana is a new musical based on an original idea by Pulitzer Prize winning Cuban born author Nilo Cruz. But behind this dazzling world of nightlife, glamour and romance, the country is fraught with corruption. It is “Casablanca” set on the eve of the Castro takeover of Cuba, with all the heat and sexiness one associates with Havana at that time. The music is by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel among others), and will be directed and choreographed by Sergio Truillio (The Addams Family, Memphis among others).
